When it comes to policies, few are more hotly debated than cancellation/no-show policies. Everyone does theirs differently, and they often require periodic revision to account for different situations and changing business needs. In the spirit of transparency and sharing lessons I’ve learned in my practice, I want to share with you the logic behind my cancellation policies. I’ll share my own process for crafting my policy, why I only allow very specific exceptions, and the math behind my decisions.
